In Short

I have nothing good to say about today.

Rest day.
Sick kid (not terribly sick though).
No work on mountain (I'm actually OK with that).
Writing work deadlines by 5pm tomorrow.
Much chocolate consumed today. Milk chocolate makes me binge.
Made horrible Indian dinner--the house still smells.

I'm sure I'm over calories for the day, but I couldn't even begin to try and decipher the combination foods I ate today.

I'm going to bed.

Hope you had a good day. Three challenge days left!

  1. I think we're in the same boat. Sick kid. Much too much food consumed b/c of frustration about being cooped up with sick kid. Did do P90X stretch, though, which always makes me feel good.
    Bfast: bagel thin with pb and honey
    Snack: yogurt
    Lunch: garden burger with cheese, apple
    Snack: many animal crackers, coke zero
    Dinner: large sugar cookie at Mall food court (where I went to escape my house and shop for new bras after I finally decided yesterday that wearing uncomfortable bras is a ridiculous state of affairs and in a moment of fury threw three bras into the Goodwill bag. There's no way I should have something digging into me for 12 hours a day. Sorry if this is TMI)

    BUT, TODAY IS A NEW DAY, THANK GOD!!!

  2. Wednesdays must just be a bad day all around...
    rest day for me
    breakfast-museli, blueberries and walnuts
    lunch-leftover orange chicken
    snack-yogurt
    mid-afternoon emotional meltdown over the bookkeeping I need to do and hate
    dinner-pizza, more than I should have eaten, and salad
    snack-more pizza with the family that came over to watch a basketball game
    I feel better already today after excersicing!

  3. I'm done eating for the day due to sore throat/sinuses (we're a picture of health around here these days...)
    Exercise: P90X Back and Biceps
    Bfast: 1 c. cereal, one scrambled egg, 1/3 c. dried blueberries
    Snack: Zone bar
    Lunch: Organic cream of mushroom soup, 10 pita crackers, apple with 1 TBSP pb
    Snack: 1/2 100-cal bag of popcorn (was like eating razor blades, bad idea)
    Dinner: Yogurt
    I'm kind of hungry, so as I'm writing this I just decided to have a small bowl of cereal. And then I'm going to lay down.

    snack-half a banana, almond milk
    workout-Fire 30, Tone 30
    breakfast-scrambled eggs, corn tortilla
    lunch-turkey roll ups, blueberries
    snack-a few cheezits, Trio nut bar
    dinner-take out pad thai, orange chicken and slippery shrimp (what a terrible name for a really yummy dish), small piece of berry pie

    snack-banana and peanut butter
    workout-Fire 55 EZ, Abs 10
    breakfast-berry smoothie, multi grain cheerios
    snack-cheese and crackers
    lunch-salad and half a pear
    dinner-chicken tacos, refried beans, spanish rice
    snack-POPCORN!!

  6. I think I owe you Friday and Saturday, so here goes...
    Friday
    Kenpo
    bfast: 1 c cereal
    Snack: apple with pb
    Lunch: garden burger on bagel thin with cheese and sprouts
    Snack: zone bar
    Dinner: chipotle bowl with rice (tiny bit), chicken, lettuce, pico, guac

    Saturday:
    REST...ahhhh!
    bfast: 1 c. cereal
    snack: zone bar, almonds
    lunch: chipotle bowl AGAIN -- was at the mall with kids, was either this or chick-fil-a (nasty!)
    Snack: apple with pb
    Dinner: turkey sandwich, potato pancake (I believe the potato pancake is still sitting in my belly almost 12 hours later)
